The 4-CD-Set contained beside the 100 Doo Wop classical authors from the late 40´er and early 50´er years in addition still another Booklet with information, bonded firmly in the prettily arranged packing, and photos unite to the represented groups. Unfortunately these short sentences become relative to the singers superficial. Among the interpreters considerable groups are like e.g. The Harptones, The Dominoes, The Spaniels, The Royals, The flamingo, The El Dorados in addition, admitted formations less such as The Cues, The Feathers or The Velvets. Some few groups were even unknown to me as a “hard core fan” so far completely!
Due to the title composition really succeeded and the really very human price I can recommend this decorations set really only to each Doo Wop collecting tank. With this good deal one receives a loose overview over the early years of the Doo Wop music, before starting from center of the 50´er introduction held years of the Rock´n´Roll and such as Frankie Lymon & The of dte rodent, Dion & The Belmonts, The Chantels u.v.m brought such groups out.
